Your child can switch to a personal Revolut account ‌upon turning 18. You'll receive a notification about the transition, requiring no action from your end.

Funds

Your child can transfer existing funds and pockets from the <18 account to the new one. 

If you prefer not to transfer funds, you can withdraw them before their 18th birthday.

Revolut <18 account and card

Until your child fully activates the new personal account and initiates the fund transfer, their <18 card and account will function normally. After the transfer, their <18 account and card will be terminated.

Account termination

If the switch isn't made by their 19th birthday, we'll terminate the <18 account and return any remaining funds to your personal account.
