How to withdraw cash from an ATM

How to withdraw cash

  • Make sure you have sufficient funds in your account and monetisable balance.
  • To check monetisable balance: tap your profile icon in the top-left corner → select 'Plan' and 'Monetisable balance'.
  • Check that the card you want to use is active, cash withdrawals are enabled, and you know your card's PIN.

If the ATM supports contactless withdrawals, you won't be able to use a virtual card. You'll need a physical card, or you can use your physical card from your digital wallet.

If your withdrawal was declined, learn more in this FAQ.

How can I withdraw funds?

If you want to withdraw funds at ATM, you need to have enough monetisable balance.

To check how much you currently have in the Revolut mobile app: tap your profile icon in the top-left corner → select 'Plan' and 'Monetisable balance'.

If you don't have enough monetisable funds, you can: add money via bank transfer (see this FAQ for more details), receive funds deposited via bank transfers, from other Revolut customers, or bank top-ups.

Limits and fees

Cash withdrawal limits and fees may apply depending on your plan. Read about cash withdrawal fees and limits in this FAQ and check the information about withdrawing in other currencies in this FAQ.

Each ATM can charge fees based on their own policies. If you’re unsure if Revolut charged a fee, tap on the withdrawal in your transaction history to see the details. If no fee is shown, we didn’t charge one.

How to find an ATM

From your home screen in the app, tap the cards icon in the top-right corner, then tap 'Find ATMs nearby' at the bottom.

The ATM map shows available ATMs near you, though they may not all accept your Revolut card.
