Revolut ATM accessibility

From 28 June 2025 onwards, Revolut ATMs and payment terminals will be designed to incorporate accessibility features, in line with Annex I of the European Accessibility Act and any applicable national legislation.

How Revolut helps customers with visual impairments

Revolut applications are engineered to be compatible with screen readers. All interactive elements, images, and visual content are programmatically described, enabling screen reader software to effectively convey information to customers with visual impairments.

Screen readers provide an audio interface for customers who can’t visually access the screen. Examples include VoiceOver (iOS) and TalkBack (Android). Revolut apps are designed to work seamlessly with these assistive technologies.

Initial usage of screen readers may require a period of adjustment due to their unique navigation protocols. If you're having persistent difficulties using screen reader technology, check the screen reader tutorials or guidance specific to your device or contact our support team for assistance.

How Revolut supports multi-sensory information

Key information is primarily delivered via text. For non-text content, such as images, textual alternatives ('alt text') are provided. For video content, we provide captions and transcripts to ensure comprehensive understanding. You can change the size of in-app text from your device settings.

Our digital forms feature clear, linked labels. They provide accessible error identification (including screen reader messages) and actionable correction suggestions, to make sure our forms are usable for everyone.

We underline links and put a clear shape around buttons for extra visibility. We offer a higher colour contrast setting, so it's easier to see the difference between various elements on the screen. You can also enable reduced motion settings on your phone to turn off in-app animations.

How to give Revolut feedback on our accessibility

To find the in-app chat:

  • Go to ‘Home’ on the bottom menu of the app
  • Tap your profile picture or initials in the top left corner
  • Select 'Help' and select a topic. Keep selecting topics relevant to your query or feedback until the 'Chat with us' button appears, and tap it to open a chat
