Does Revolut hold the money in the Savings Accounts?

Your Savings Account with us is a demand deposit account, with the money in it held by Revolut as a deposit.

When deposited with us, your money will be protected by the by the Lithuanian State Company 'Deposit and Investment Insurance' scheme. 

To find out more about protection:

  • From your app's home screen, tap the account selector below your balance.
  • Select your Savings Account under the 'Savings' section. 
  • Tap 'Details', and select 'Protected (i)' in the top left corner.
