Why can't I create Savings Account?

The safety of your money is our priority, so we may prevent you from using your Savings Account in certain situations. For example, we'll deny the repayment of any deposit and won't credit any additional deposit if we're reasonably concerned about its security, or believe your money might be used fraudulently or without your permission.

Legal requirements

We may also need to prevent you from using your Savings Account to meet our legal obligations arising from the laws of the Republic of Lithuania.

How we notify you

We'll tell you through the Revolut app before, or as soon as possible after, we've temporarily limited your Savings Account. We'll also let you know why we've done it (unless it would compromise your or our security, or if it would be unlawful). We'll reinstate your Savings Account features as soon as the reasons for the temporary limit no longer exist.

To view your Savings Account T&Cs in-app:

  1. Go to 'Home' on the bottom menu
  2. Below your balance, tap 'Accounts'
  3. Select your Savings Account
  4. Tap 'Details'
  5. Tap 'Terms & Conditions'
