What is the excess for medical claims?
If your insurance provider is Chubb or Cover Genius, there is no excess fee for medical claims. For the reimbursement of unused, non-refundable trip costs if your booking is cut short or personal property protection claims, there's a variable excess which is 10% of your claim amount (up to a max of £50).
If your insurance provider is Allianz. The excess amount is £50 for any medical expense claim, which is the amount you're responsible for paying if you make a claim. The excess fee for emergency dental cover is also £50.
