A trip means a holiday or journey which starts when you leave your regular place of residence and ends when you return. A trip doesn't include travel to and from your normal place of work.

Revolut travel insurance includes coverage for pre-booked personal and business international and domestic trips that are at least 75 miles away from home. Certain coverage aspects, such as medical expenses, do not apply when travelling within the UK.

Metal plans cover a maximum of 30 days per trip, whereas Ultra plans cover for a maximum of 90 days. If your trip exceeds these limits, cover will apply for the first 30 (Metal) or 90 days (Ultra). It is not possible to extend coverage beyond these maximum durations.

Remember, you must have an active Revolut Metal or Ultra plan at the time of booking and use this account to pay for at least 75% of your primary transport and accommodation expenses in order for a trip to be covered. Read more on this page.
