Damaged, lost, or stolen luggage

Your baggage is covered up to a maximum of, €1000 for repair and replacement costs if it is damaged, lost or stolen. You are covered for up to €250 per item, but you may be eligible for less if the item is old or if you don’t have the original receipt. 

Lost, stolen, or damaged travel documents (such as your passport, Visa, or driving licence) are covered up to a maximum benefit of €500. This doesn't apply if they've been left unattended in a motor vehicle or public area.

Stolen or lost belongings and documents must be reported to the police (and hotel management if the loss or theft occurred in a hotel) within 24 hours of discovery.

Delayed luggage

Delayed baggage is covered under our travel insurance policy, as one of the benefits for Premium, Metal, and Ultra plans. If your baggage is delayed by 4 hours or more, you can claim up to €400 in compensation per eligible traveller.
