What's my contactless limit?
A contactless limit refers to the maximum transaction amount allowed for a contactless payment without requiring additional verification. When the limit is reached, you'll be asked to insert your card and enter your PIN to complete a transaction.
Imposing a maximum transaction amount for contactless payments reduces the risks associated with the potential unauthorised use of lost or stolen cards or devices.

Our contactless limit is €150 per single transaction.
How do I reset my contactless limit?
If your transaction was declined due to the €150 contactless limit, you can make a chip and PIN payment to reset it.
You can also reset your contactless limit in-app:
- From your home screen, go to Cards (top-right icon) and choose your card
- Tap 'Settings'
- Next to 'Contactless limit', tap 'Reset' and follow the prompts
