Configurar uma conta conjunta

A joint account is a shared account between two Revolut customers. It’s not just for partners and spouses — friends, family, and housemates can open an account to simplify expense sharing. Both account holders can add, withdraw, manage, and spend money in the joint account.

Requirements for opening a joint account

  • You're at least 18 years old
  • You have a personal Revolut account and have passed our identity verification checks
  • You live in the same country as your co-holder
  • You both belong to the same Revolut entity, for example, Revolut Bank UAB
  • You don't have another Revolut joint account or a pending invite for one

Read our Joint Accounts T&Cs to learn more.

Open a joint account in-app

  1. Go to 'Home' on the bottom menu
  2. Below your balance, tap 'Accounts' and 'Add new'
  3. Select 'Joint' and follow the instructions

The other applicant needs to accept your invitation.

Paid plans and joint accounts

  • Each account holder has their own usage limits based on their Revolut plan
  • Joint account fees are deducted from the joint account only
  • If one of the joint account holders has a Metal or Ultra plan, any eligible card payments made with your joint account card will earn RevPoints. Learn more about RevPoints from these FAQs in our Help Centre
  • Insurance benefits don't apply to joint account activity
  • Flexible Cash Funds account can't be opened on joint accounts
