During the application process, you'll be asked to confirm that your current credit can be reduced to MXN5,000 (if it's currently above this), along with other conditions specific to the Basic Credit Card. You can only have one Basic Credit Card linked to your account.

Due to the nature of this product, the assigned credit line is very limited. If you require a higher credit limit, this may not be the right product for you.

Once you switch to a Basic Credit Card, you can’t revert to a regular Revolut credit card. To change back, you must cancel it and complete a new credit assessment. If your credit profile has changed, you may no longer qualify for the regular credit card.

• Accept the MXN5,000 limit
• If eligible, sign the contract
• Once signed, your card will be converted and you’ll get a confirmation

• Ensure your credit balance is MXN0
• Tap 'I want a Basic Credit Card' at the end of this article to request the Basic Credit Card
• Confirm you accept the product terms
• If eligible, receive and sign the contract
• Once signed, your card will be converted and you’ll get a confirmation

• The change will occur immediately once you receive confirmation that your card has been converted to a Basic Credit Card
• If your credit balance is not MXN0, you must bring it to zero before the process can continue
• Once approved, your Basic Credit Card is activated immediately

Once you switch to a Basic Credit Card, you can't upgrade back to a standard Revolut credit card. To apply for a new credit card, you must cancel your Basic Credit Card, apply again, and go through a new credit assessment.
