My transfer was returned

There are several reasons for a transfer to be returned. To find out why a transfer has been unsuccessful, click on the transfer in your Transactions list and click on 'Get help' at its info panel.

Common reasons for transfers to be rejected

  • Beneficiary’s account is closed
  • Incorrect beneficiary details were used — i.e. wrong account number
  • The money wasn’t accepted by the beneficiary's bank
  • Processing issues with the receiving bank

When will the money return to my account?

  • Local transfers: up 5 business days
  • International transfers: up to 20 business days
